(Received August 8, 7 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 7. Major-General Styler, Chief of Staff of the Army ■Service of Supply, on his return from a 37,000 miles tour of inspection of the Allied war theatres, declared that General Eisenhower had expressed satisfaction with the shipments of mateini for the North African and Sicilian campaigns. All essential supplies _ had been forthcoming, and General Eisenhower felt he was better supported than any other commander in. history.
