REHABILITATION HELP

Disabled Civilians As Well As Servicemen As the result of a conference between the Disabled Servicemen's Re-Estab-lishment League and the Rehabilitation Board, it has been decided to proceed ar once with plans for modern factories and training centres for disabled men and women of all three branches of the armed services.

The league, whose special conference ended in Wellington yesterday, has also taken the power under its rules to deal with civilian disabled. This step was decided on because war has come elos'j to New Zealand. The league's view was that assistance and training should be available to civilians disabled in New Zealand as the result of the war.
