Miss Pilkington, Auckland, secretary of the women’s organization of the National Party, arrived at Wellington yesterday from the north to attend a conference of the organization. Mrs. R. H. Carmichael, Khandallah, Wellington, is staying with her mother, Mrs. W. Milne Shand, Christchurch. Mrs. M. J. Lynskey, Palmerston North, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Geoffrey Falck, Fendalton. Christchurch.
Mrs. J. O. Turner, New Plymouth, is spending a' holiday in Wellington and Nelson.
Mrs. M. Thorpe, Hunterville, is spending a short holiday in Wanganui as the guest of Mrs. J. IV. Anderson. Mrs. IV. Rodgers has returned to Christchurch from a visit to her daughter, Mrs. E. Rippin, Napier. Mrs. C. Spedding, Wellington, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. C. Tlirelkeld, Riccarton, Christchurch. Mrs. Charles McKay has returned to Wellington after a round of visits to friends in the South Island.
