Miss Norah Nutt will leave Chr'istchurch at the end of the week on a short visit to Wellington. Miss Shirley Hotter, Wellington, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. L. Treleaven, Richmond Hill. Sumner, Christchurch. Major J. B. Robertson and Mrs. Robertson, Masterton, are Visiting Napier. Mrs. A. Donald, Ilemuera, Auckland, is visiting friends in the Hawke’s Bay district. Mrs. A. Nisbet Smith, New Plymouth, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. H. Wilmshurst has returned to Lower Hutt after a etay in Stratford. Mrs. R. L. Cooper, New Plymouth, is spending a holiday in 'Wellington. Mrs. L. 11. Searle, formerly of Palmerston North, is living with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Price, Hastings. Miss N. M. Bell has been granted leave of absence for the duration of the war from the staff of the Ashburton High School, to take up a temporary position with the Soil Survey Division of the Department of Industrial and Scientific Research, 'Wellington.
