Mrs. C. C. Slewart. M.P., returned to Wellington from the south yesterday.
Mrs. N. Sinclair Thompson left Wellington for the south yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Bayliss, Grey Street. Palmerston North, are visitors to Wellington. The Hon. Mrs. Ralph Vane, Auckland, is visiting Wellington. Miss Muriel Parker, associate to Mr. .Justice Kennedy, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Parker, ILataitai, left Wellington on her return to Dunedin yesterday. Mrs. .1. Hogben, Remuera, Auckland, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. Knox Gilmer and Miss Malempre, Wellington, will visit Hastings ihis week in connexion with W.W.S.A. affairs. Mrs. C. Parsons, Karori, is visiting Wanganui as the guest of her sister, Mrs. D. Holms, Aratnoho. Mrs. It. M. Arthur, who has been staying in New Plymouth, is visiting Wellington before returning to her home in Blenheim. .Mr. and .Mrs. R. 11. Davis. Wellington, are staying in Timarii. Mrs. .1. M. Warnock and Miss P. Warnock have returned to New Plymouth after standing two mouths in Gisborne as the guests of Mrs. Lionel Spence.
