PRESS DELEGATION TO BRITAIN
Personnel Announced
Tlie personnel of the New Zealand Press party to visit Great Britain at tlie invitation of the Ministry of Information was announced yesterday by the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser. The names are:— Mr. E. V. Dumblelton, of the “Auckland Star,” and Mr. AV. A. Whitlock, of the "Hawke’s Bay Herald-Tribune,’ who will represent the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association, Mr. A. A. Hardcastle, of the “Evening Post, ami president of the New Zealand Journalists’ Association, who was chosen to represent the working journalists, and Mr. AV. J. Green, editor of the “Standard.” , , . All arrangements had been completed, said Hie Prime Minister, and the Government had readily accepted a suggestion bv tlie Minister of Information, Mr. Brendan Bracken, that the visit 'should take place in the English spring. . , x The invitation was conveyed to Mr. Fraser during his visit to Great Britain, and Hie New Zealand organizations concerned were invited to nominate representative Pressmen. "The city and provincial editorial staffs, reporting interests, and Labour journalism will be ably ami fully represented by this selection, Mr. Fraser said.
