D.F.C. Award To Outstanding Navigator (British Official Wireless.) (Received November 16, 6 pm.) RUGBY, November 15. The citation in respect of the award of the Distinguished Flying Cross to Flying Officer Stanley George Baggott, of Christchurch, slates: “He has been continuously employed as the pilot of a Sunderland since November, 1939, and Ims completed 1200 hours of operational flying. He operated from Oban throughout the autumn and winter of 1940, often in very adverse weather, when all-night convoy escorts were being carried out in the North Atlantic. lie ittis acted as captain of his aircraft since November, 1940, and maintained a high standard of operational efficiency. He is also a very reliable pilot and an outstanding navigator.”
