OPERA HOUSE
Husbands often laugh at wives who, weeping their eyes out in the dark of tlie cinema, declare at the finish that they have had a lovely evening. "When Tomorrow Conies,” at I lie Opera House, was made to shed tears over and yet still allow the picture-goer to leave the theatre fully satisfied with the evening’s entertainment.
Hero and heroine, caught in a terrific hurricane off the New England States, declare their love for each other. But the husband has a partly-imbecile wife, and the heroine, duly conseienee-strickfn. agrees to give the tnnn up. The producer could very easily have disposed of tlie wife at this point and let the lovers live happily ever after, but he resisted temptation and the pair part forever. Irene Dunne, as charming and versatile as anyone on the screen, nnd Charles Boyer, as rhe. somewhat sultry lover, play their parts well, while Barbara O’Neil is convincing as the insane wife.
