Wellington Club Meeting
q.'hc Wellington Amateur Athletic Club had experienced quite a good season, despite difficult times, and it was hopeful ot carrying ou successfully in the coming season, said the president, Mr. M. J. Pollock, at the annual meeting, lhe club won the McVilly and Dewar Shields, and the Heenan Boomerang. The finances ot the club were sound. The election of officers resulted:— Patrou, the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall; president, Mr. H. J. Pollock; vice-presidents, all re-elected; committee, Messrs. K. Guy, A. C. K’R O - A. LTressider, W. J. Vernon, R. Spence, C. Dickie, and A. J. Mackay, and Miss D. Hurley; club captain, Mr. R. Kidd; ladies’ club captaiu, Mrs. E. Kidd; bon. treasurer, Mr. R. J. Ford ; bon. secretary, Mr. G. B. Appleby; delegate to Wellington Centre, Mr. C. Smythe; hon. auditor, Mr. H. Fisher; starter, Mr. I. W. Leslie; deputy starter, Mr. O» Smythe.
