Levin Shield Contest Weather permitting, the Wellington Football Club wi(l hold its annual competition. at the Emerson Street ground today to decide this year’s, holder of the Levin Shield, a trophy which is awarded to the member gaining most points in a contest consisting of place-kicking, dropkicking, punting and sprinting. The shield was presented to the club 47 years ago by the late Mr. W. H. Devin. The list of those who have held the trophy contains the names of many who have figured prominently in the activities of Wellington’s oldest Rugby club.
