PAHIATUA, September 30.

The Associated Auctioneers report on today's Pahiatua sale states that a medium yarding of run entile and sheep came forward and were offered to a large attendance of the public. Bullocks were in keen demand, a nice pen of well-grown forward-conditioned cattle realizin'/, £l9 15/- Another pen of 4-year bullocks, lower-conditioned, made £lO. Sales in other grades in this section were on a nar with late rates. The offering of sheep comprised mostly hoggets, and competition was spirited throughout the sale, a total clearance being made at auction at values satisfactory to vendors. Dairy cattle and pigs were in short supply, and prices here appreciated considerably on our previous sales.
