TEA AT Y.M.C.A.

A buffet tea was enjoyed by men of the forces at the Y.M.O.A. last evening and as the result of a generous gift from an anonymous donor, new-laid eggs and "cheerios” appeared on the menu. The monthly birthday cake was also anonymously donated. Members of the girls’ auxiliary of the Y.M.O.A. were hostesses. Mr. R. H. Nimmo, who was accompanied by Mrs. Nimmo, was chairman and Mr. G. Scott was associated with him. Items on the programme were: Vocal solos, Mrs. A. Downer and Mr. K. Macaulay; elocutionary items and child impersonations, Mrs. Anne Dane.
