Question Of Compensation For Injury An inquiry into a recent decision not to pay compensation for injuries incurred by. Mr. E. W. Evans, a member of the Oa-onui unit of the Home Guard, who met with an accident while on his way to attend a parade, is* sought by U. M. Bathgate and six others in a petition presented to the House by Mr. Wilkinson (Independent, Eginont). “We feel aggrieved at the decision to withhold payment, specially as men joining the Home Guard were led to understand that they were fully insured against accident,” the petitioners state.
