SCOTTISH REGIMENT PARADES

Service In St. Andrew’s

The first, full-dress church parade of the AVelliiigton Scottish Regiment was held last night ami there was a full muster at St. Andrew’s Presby terian Church, where a sermon appropriate to the occasion was delivered by Dr. E. N. Merrington. The parade was under the command of Lt.Colonel J. L. McAlister, M.C., who had come down specially from Wanganui. -The pipe bands of Wellington, including the two college bands, took part in the parade and there was also a large attendance of members of the Wellington Association of Scottish Societies, including the president. Mr. J. G. MacKenzie, and of the Scottish Territorial Association, including Hie president, Mr. S. McDonald. Special Scottish psalms were sung. The bauds played the parade to ami from the chnrcli.
