The Hon. H. G. R. Mason, Minister of Education, left Wellington for Auckland by the Limited express last night to open the annual exhibition of the Auckland Society of Arts. He will return to Wellington tomorrow.
The Hon. Adam Hamilton, M.l’., a member of the War Cabinet, left Wellington for the South Island last night.
Mr. S. N. Vaughan left Wellington by plane for Nelson yesterday.
Mr. A. C. St. Paul was a passenger by plane to Dunedin yesterday. Mr. W. A. Aitken was a passenger by plane to Auckland yesterday. Dr. L. S. Lewis returned to Nelson from Wellington by plane, yesterday. The Rev. Father J. A. Eecleston, Tauranga, is at .present in Wellington. Mr. A. P. Smith, Wellington, left for the south by last night’s steamer express.
Mr. A. Caddick, Christchurch, left Wellington for the south by the steamer express last night.
'Mr. A. R. Galbraith, recently-retired Christchurch city engineer, returned to the south from Wellington last night.
Mr. J. F. Bristed. managing director of Screens Advertising, Ltd., left Wellington for the South Island last night.
Mr. Alex. Harvey, managing director of Alex. Harvey and Sons Ltd., Auckland and Wellington, is staying at the Hotel Waterloo.
Ur J. A. Lee, M.l’., who has been addressing meetings in Taranaki on behalf of the Democratic Labour larty, will return to Wellington today. Mr. A. Higgins, Auckland manager of the Empire Printing and Box Manufacturing Co., Ltd., left Wellington on his return to Auckland last night.
Mr. 11. D. Acland, president of the New Zealand Sheepowners’ Federation, left Wellington on his return to Christchurch last night.
Professor F. G. Soper. Dunedin, Professor of Chemistry, Otago University, arrived at Wellington yesterday morning.
Mr. M'. R. Carey, Christchurch, manager of the Kaiapoi Woollen Manufacturing Co., Ltd., returned to the south from Wellington last night. Mr. Coleman, S.M., chairman of the Railways Appeal Board, arrived at Wellington from Palmerston North yesterday morning. He will be engaged in the bearing of appeals during the rest of this week.
