WOMEN PATIENTS BENEFIT

FROM MUSICALE

Tlie Wadestown branch of the Women’s National Reserve recently held a musical afternoon at the residence of Mrs. R. J. Booth, Wadestown. The proceeds of the donations collected will be forwarded for the benefit of the women patients of the Mental Hospital, Porirua, as the reserve's usual Easter gift. ‘ Songs were given by Mesdames C. S. Eastwood, K. E. Eekhoff, and A. Gardener, and Mrs. J. W. Michaelson, who was also accompanist, gave pianoforte solos. All members who attended the afternoon were very generous in their support of the navy princess in the Victory Queen Carnival, competitions, being held for her benefit.
