Programme Of Music

A bright and entertaining evening marked the opening of the year’s activities for the University Women’s Club, Wellington. Mrs. A. E. Boyes, chairman, was hostess, assisted by the club secretary, Mrs. J. Down. A musical programme included violin solos by Miss Ida Lockwood, accompanied by Miss Rita Lowe, songs by Misses Janet Stirling and Mifanwy Davies, pianoforte duets by Misses Nell Kendall and Evelyn McFarlane, a sketch by Misses Janet Stirling, Nell Kendall and Gwen Harrison, and a one-act play in which the parts were taken by Mesdaines Jasper Baldwin and B. McKinlay, and Misses Rere Beekway, Janet Atkinson. Mifanwy Davies and Lyon.
