Mrs. N. M. Mackinnon, “Highgate,” Havelock North, is visiting Wellington for the races and is staying at the Hotel Waterloo.
Mrs. Guy Ronalds, who has been visiting Mrs. John Mason and Mrs. Kinross ’White, Hawke's Bay, returned to Christchurch yesterday: Miss Montgomery Moore, Wanganui, who has been the guest of Mrs. Marmaduke Bethell, Atuuri, North Canter bury, will return to Christchurch today.
Mrs, E. Condon, Dunedin, who has been touring the North Island, has been staying with Mrs. J. M. Murphy, Wellington. Mrs. R. Matthews, Hastings, and Mrs. J. Dwyer, Masterton.
Mrs. Rewi Murray, Nelson, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned home.
Sister A. McColl, who has been Plunket nurse at Blenheim, Hawera. and other centres, passed through Wellington last week on her way to take up a similar position at Dargaville.
Miss Vera Hall, Timaru, left Wellington on Monday night for Auckland, en route to Sydney? Miss Hall has been touring the world for live years, and left England on her return to New Zealand last June. Miss Rothenberg, Wellington, is the guest of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Rothenberg, Christchurch. Miss E. B. Tennent, Wellington, Do minion supervisor of Red Cross voluntary aides, has been visiting Wanga nui in the course of a tour of New Zealand, to further the aims of the movement. She 'will arrive at New Plymouth on Saturday and will be the guest of Mrs. C. A. Taylor, commandant of the local detachment. Miss June Joll, Wellington, is visiting her grandmother, Mrs. 0. R. Raine, "Wanganui.
Miss Betty Adams is a Wanganui visitor to 'Wellington.
Mrs. George Gannan, who has been the guest of Mrs. T. E. Lovegrove, Wanganui, has returned to Plcton. Miss Patricia Ryan, Wellington, is visiting Wanganui as the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Pat O’Neil. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. McLeavey, Palmerston North, are spending a few weeks in Auckland.
Mrs. Wilfred Meule, who has been spending the past two months in Wanganui, has returned to her home, Okaiawa, Taranaki.
Dr. and Mrs. Anderson and their two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Armstrong and Miss Esther Anderson, have returned from an extensive tour through the Urewera Country and to Lake Waikaremoana.
