Loughuan, 36. Summer Cup, semitinals: S, C. Taylor beat V. J. H. Fordham, at the nineteenth; K. G. Robinson beat J. V. Stevens, 5 and 3. In the final over 36 holes, Robinson was 4 up at tl>e eighteenth, but with a brilliant 36 over the first nine in the afternoon, Taj lor led at the twenty-seventh by 2 up. From that stage fortune fluctuated till Robinson, dormle one, ran down a 45-footer for a half in 5, to take the match by 1 up. Iu the semifinals of the Mine-Sweeping Flotilla trophy, D. M. Wilson beat D. L. Irwin, 4 and 3; G. C. Phillips beat G. M. Frazer, 6 and 5. The final will be played next weekend. A stableford yesterday was -won by D. M. Wilson, 31-6-37; D. If. Griffin, 28-7-3.1.
