No mass entry into Bulgaria bv the German forces lias yet been macle. It is suggested that they are planning a “silent” or gradual invasion, though some reports again state that the preparations for a march are complete. It is revealed that the movement of German troops into Italy has not been interrupted by the Balkan developments. Sailors are also arriving, and it is believed that thev are to take over at least part of Mussolini’s licet.

In the central sector in Albania Greek artillery has heavily shelled points in the Italian lines where the enemy was attempting to reorganize after his recent retreat. Royal Air Force bombers have done considerable damage to Italian storage dumps and motor transport columns near Telepenc.

The truce between Thailand and Indo-China is to conclude today and the French authorities are making ready for renewed defence. 1 hey have protested to Japan against the presence of warships off the coast.
