.Mr. De Valera described the published version of his interview with Mr. Willkie, in which he was described as likely to revise his attitude to Britain ’ and even consider giving her bases, as completely devoid of foundation. “I do not believe that Mr. Willkie could have given such a version of ottr conversation.” he said.
