W.0.5.0. Club's Activities The W.ti.S.tJ. Club's lin-l meeting of the year, held in the United Services ('lub rooms yesterday, was marked by a good attendance of members. Several new members, whose husbands have recently left for setvice overseas, were welcomed by the president. Mrs. Montgomery Spencer. Members cougral ulatcd Mrs. It. Love, a fellow-member of the club, on being chosen as "ipteen'’ for Lower Hull in Um Victory Queen Carnival. A party for children of members was discussed, and it was decided to hold it next Saturday at. the home of Hie secretary, Mrs. B. Rennie, Karori. If the weather is unsuitable, the party will be held at the United Services Club.
