VALUE OF RIFLE CLUBS

South Australia, which has always had a strong rille club movement and lias sent outstanding rille shots to Bisley, is finding the benefit of tills organization as it did in the last war.

Nearly 1000 members of rille clubs have already enlisted for service with tile new Australian Imperial Force, 8200 have joined the rifle club reserves, and more than 4000 are training in home defence. Lieutenant-Colonel F. M. Best, who has just been appointed commander of training of rille club reserves, said the object of (lie Hille Association of South Australia was to see that every available num of military age was given an opportunity of receiving military training.
