BRITISH CREDITS
Effect On Greek Finances ( Received February 9. 7.5 p.m.)
LONDON, February 7
'The At liens correspondent of “The Times” states that M. Varvaressos, Govern of the Bank of Greece, revealed that British credits provided the cover for a great expansion in the fiduciary issue, which increased by one-third in the year ended January 31. These credits also enabled an increase in the foreign exchange reserve from £6,000,000 to £18.000,600 during 19-10. Britain also greatly assisted Greece in the economic sphere.
