Akitio Ewe Sale

DANNEVIIKKE, February 4. The annual Akitio ewe sale was held yesterday in the Ora yards, lent by -Mr. B. Armstrong. The Hawke's Bay Farmers' Co-operative Association's yarding consisted of a large entry of first-class ewes on 'behalf of East Coast clients. The ewes came forward in excellent condition and were keenly competed for by buyers representing West Coast. Waikato, Hawke's Bay . and local districts. They quote:—4)n li.'c. F. Williams and Kettle Ltd. offered some good station lines of both young and old ewes. Ewes sold well, but rather a dragging sale resulted for the older ewes.
