MASTERTON. February 5. A good yarding of lambs and store sheep was forward at the sale conducted in Mastori on today, and there was a good attendance of buyers. Mmhs were in keen demand, and a general improvement in prices was evident, one •exceptionally good line of 251 shorn wether lambs on account of Mamaku Station realizing 20/3. Prices: Fat sheep: Good fat lambs. 28/3: fat wethers, 22/- to 22/6, light 20/-; fat ewes, 13/0: fat maiden ewes. 18/-. Store sheep: Two-tonih medium, 23/4, small, 17/6; two-tooth wethers, good 111/7. small 16/4. Store jambs: Shorn ■wether lambs, extra good 20/3. good medium 14/- tn 15/10. small 10/9 to 11/3, cull 7/-: woolly wether lambs, good 17/-, small 10/3 to 11/-, cull 7/- to 8/.1; woolly ewe lambs, small 14/6 to 15/2, cull 9/9 to 10/6: b.f. Jambs, 34/10 to 16/10. culls 9/9 to 10/6. I‘igs: Weaners, 14/-: porkers, £2/2/6.
