Interprovincial Matches It was announced at Hie weekly meeting of the management committee of the AVellington Cricket Association yesterday that the sole selector to the association, Air. J. R. Lanuison. had chosen E. G. AlcLeod to captain the Wellington eleven in the return match against Auckland, in Auckland, this month. The Canterbury association wrote stating that there was a possibility ol the Canterbury representative team playing a return match against Wellington, in A\ ellington, this season, and, if a team could be got together for the trip, Canterbury would prefer that the match should be played on February 28 and Alareli 1 and 2. It was decided to reply that AVellington would welcome a return niiiteh. Mr. F. AV. Gilligan, principal ot Wanganui Collegiate School, wrote accepting the association's invitation to play for I lie Wellington veterans’ team against tlie Auckland veterans in AVellington on March 7 and 8.
