Cricket And Soccer Coach

J. 11. Sheffield, professional coach to the 'Wellington Cricket and Football Associations, has accepted a position as chief sports master and physical drill instructor atx Wellington College. It has been mutually agreed that his contracts with the two sports, organizations be cancelled. In normal circumstances, Sheffield would have completed the present cricket season under contract to tbe cricket authorities; next winter, too, he would have completed his term with the football association. The question has been raised as to whether Sheffield will continue playing for University in the senior cricket competition. He is himselt undecided yet.
