Australian Ships Of Mar (From “The Dominion,” Aug. 30, 1915.) The destroyer Torrens, which has been built in Australia, has been launched. Her sister ships, the Derwent, and the Swan, will be ready for their steam trials and launching respectively in one months to two months’ time. The cruiser Brisbane will be launched in October. * * * Tiie Australian Federal Minister for Trade and Customs, Sir. Tudor, states that Imperial meat needs have been satisfied for the present, and that meat will now be delivered for civilian use. The New South Wales Government has ordered the manufacture of 10 machine-guns' at the Walsh Island
