BRILLIANT ROUND OF 67

The highlight of golf at Hie weekend in Wellington was W. B. Reilly's brilliant round of G 7 on the Hutt course ou Saturday morning. Out in 35, he did a brilliant home journey of 32, his card reading :— Out: 453444143—35 Ju: 334444244—32

In the afternoon, though not so good, his 72 indicated that the Wellington provincial champion is at present at the top of his form.

Friendly Match On Handicap

To give some of their middle-distance and long handicap players a game, a match was played between teams irom the Hutt and Shandon clubs yesterday, tlie games being played on handicaps. Teams of 12 aside met on both links. Hutt won the match ou the Hutt links by 12 games to four, with two games halved, winning the singles by nine games to two, with one game halved, and the fourballs by three games to two, with one game halved. Hutt also won the match on the Shandon links by nine games to six, with three games halved. Hutt won the singles by eight games to two, with two games halved, and Shandon won the fourballs by four games to one, with oue some halved.
