Taranaki Win North Island Tournament
Dominion Special Service. NAPIER, August 23. With oue point to spare the Taranaki primary school Soccer representatives won the Colin Webster Shield at the North Island tournament which has been conducted in Napier. In the final series of matches Taranaki and Wanganui drew three-all and Wellington beat Hawke’s Bay by three-nil. The positions of the teams at the end of the tournament were: Taranaki 7 points, Wellington 6, Hawke’s Bay 4, Wanganui 3, and Manawatu 0.
