New Zealand War Budget
(From "Tho Dominion,” Aug. 27, 1»15.) The first New Zealand war Budget was presented in the House of Representatives last night. With the necessaries of life exempt, there will be £2.000,000 of extra taxation. A substantial addition to land and income tax will be made, and there will be increased charges for postal and railway services.
The Tsar of Russia has decorated Sol officers and men of British. Canadian and Indian regiments for gallantry.
