Motor Trade Approves Council Decision

The decision of the Wellington City Council not to proceed with its plans for establishing a motor-vehicle testing station was discussed at a recent meeting of the executive of the Wellington Motor Trade Association, and the following motion was carried : —"That we express our appreciation of the action of those councillors who voted against the building of a. testing station involving the expenditure of several t housand pounds and I hereby standing by their pledges n»t. to interfere with private enterprise.”
