THEFT FROM RED CROSS

The Red Cross transport service lias been loaned for purposes of training part of the lean-to al. the rear of the Town Hull, enclosed in the Town Hall yard. Mrs. Hole slated yesterday that the Re<| Cross Transport Service already had 50 trained members, and next month that number would be increased to 120. There wits also a waiting list of young women ready to take tip this work, which was now well organized under compete.nl mon who know their job. Not otiiv did these women learn to handle any type of ear. but they also qualified to drive lietivv vehicles, such as freight lorries and' buses. They were also given instruction by oxports in the mechanics ol ear. Mrs. Hole said that the members were very keen on their work.
