LEVIN MEMORIAL HOME

Aliss Archibald presided at the monthly meeting of the Levin Alemorial Home Committee on Tuesday, August 13. Others present were Airs. Du Pont, Airs. C. Leyin, Mrs. Johansen, Mrs. Meek, Airs. Gillespie, Mrs. I’oole, Airs. Willoughby, and the Misses Barry and A’oung. The matron reported that the 32 children in the home were all in good health, and that the school reports were good all round. The committee expressed regret at the resignation of the assistant matron. Aliss Douglas, who bad been a valued member of the staff, and would, lie greatly missed. It was decided to hold the gift tea 011 October 10, Airs. Doctor kindly consenting to preside.

The committee wishes to thank the following for gifts: Miss Cooper, donation of £2/2/-, and splendid display of photographs taken on her recent voyage; Toe I'lnnnas. taking rhe girls for walks; Airs. A'ates, bones for soup weekly: Mrs. Didsbury, box of buns.
