Rowe —Dunphy

A wedding of interest took place recently in St. Peter’s Church, Wellington, when Constance Jean Cecilia, only child of Airs. J. D. Dunphy, Wellington, was married to Benjamin David, third son of Airs. W. D. Hutcheson and the late Air. R. Rowe, Soutlibridge. The Rev. T. F. Fagg officiated. The church was decorated by friends of the bride.

Tlve bride, who was escorted by Mr. W. G. Proudfoot, wore a long-sleeved, trained gown of white slipper satin. Her tulle veil, which was worn over the face, was held in place by a halo of french orange blossom, and she carried a shorver bouquet of white cyclamens, freezias and maidenhair fern. Aliss Shirley Gapes, the bridesmaid, wore a frock of pastel-blue mousseline over taffeta, and a halo of velvet flowers to tone, and. she carried a bouquet of pink carnations and cyclamen.'

Air. Cyril Derecourt was and Afessrs. H. J. Rowe and F. dWson were ushers.

During the signing of the register Miss Alice Puddick sang “Because.” Airs. Dunphy received the guests at the Lyceum Club wearing a frock of navy blue wool georgette, a smart edge-to-edge coat of the same material, black peach-bloom model hat and a shoulder spray of pink carnations. Between the toasts solos were sung by Aliss Puddick and Aliss Barbara Combs, accompanied by Aliss Eileen O’Sullivan. The bride wore a tailored ensemble of delphinium blue with black accessories for travelling.
