"The matter has not been considered by the New Zealand Government.” said tlie Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, when asked in an interview last night If New Zealand was likely to adopt a similar course to Australia and appoint, a Minister to Tokio. A -Sydney cable message published on Monday stated that arrangements had been completed for an exchange of diplomatic representatives between Australia and Japan. Australia’s first Minister is to be Sir John Latham, Chief Judge of the High Court of Australia.
