GIRLS’ CYCLE CLUB
The annual report of the Centennial Cycle Club shows that keen interest was displayed during the first season of the club’s existence. Outings to Eastbourne, Butterfly Creek, Titahi Bay, Maori Bank, lioua Bay, Moonshine, the Centennial Exhibition and Judgeford wore thoroughly enjoyed by •the girls. The club membership increased to 30 by the end of the season. Members of the club are now looking forward to the summer, when further outings will be arranged. The club was organized by Miss Noeline Thomson, Wellington recreation officer, for the benefit of girls interested in cycling as a recreation. It is hoped that other chibs will be started next season so that visits can be paid to ail parts of the province and combined outings arranged
