ST. ANDREW BURNS CLUB

Annual Meeting The sixth annual meeting of the St. Andrew Burns Club was held this week in the Rechabite Hall. The retiring president, Mr. J. R. Baird, presided. It was reported that in spite of the war the chib’s past year had been a good one both from a financial and social point of view. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. A. Barclay; senior vicepresident, Mr. J. G. MacKenzie; junior vice-president, Mr. H. MeWliinnie; secretary, Miss B. Clark ; treasurer, Mr. C. G. Cattenach;, auditor, Mr. J. .Steel; committee, Meadames J, B, McKenzie, J, Davison, G. Small. B. Sinclair-Burns, and Messrs. J. B. McKenzie, J. B. Thomson and A. L. Roliertson; honorary pianist, Mrs. F. IV. London; honorary piper master, Mr. R. McKenzie, and song leader, Mr. D. N. Kieth. Items were given by Mr. an'd Mrs. H. MeWhinnie, “Turn Ye To Me,” and “Huntingtower,” and Mr. J. B. Thomson, “Sandy McGlasham’s Courtship.”
