TREE-PLANTING IN MASTERTON

Young Farmers’ Club Dominion Special Service. MASTERTON, June 18. tree-planting operations are being carried out in Masterton by members of Hie Young Farmers’ Club, the latest batch being a number of maples. Two dozen of these were planted altogether, one dozen on the site of the old avenue giving access from High Street to the Masterton A. and P. Association’s showground at Solway, and the others in various parts of the grounds. The first tree was planted by the president of the Masterton A. and P. Association, Mr. R. E. G. Lee.
