I'he Thespians in Wellington have been fortunate iu securing a particularly strong cast, for their presentation of Clemcnce Dane's, brilliant comedy. "Moonlight is Silver.'' Among those in the cast are M. Hnrdinge-Maltby. whose able characterizations have added much io past, Thespian shows—notably jn the outstanding production of •‘Family Affairs," Myles Wright, Staiilev Vinsen, Jack Macleod. Glyn I'ucker. Joan Airey (formerly of the Auckland Repertory Theatre), Roemar Gair (of Dunedin), and Joyce Templeton. Miss Hardinge-Maltbv has a comedy role in "Moonlight is Silver." In addition to its sparkling comedy lines. ‘‘Moonlight isi Silver” has a clever, satisfying plot. .Many are the moments of fine drama. “Moonlight is Silver” is being produced for the Thespians by Erie Bradweli. the well-known New Zealand playwright, ■and Russel) Reid. ( l thers engaged in the production include E. Furb.v. as the stage manager, assisted by John Miller: Ngaire Reid, as the prompter; Iris Wright, as the wardrobe mistress: and Dickie Lucas, who is in charge of the properties. The season of “Moonlight is Silver" in the concert chamber of the Town Hall, Wellington, will,begin tomorrow night.
