LABOUR LEADERS
Denial Of Treachery Charge LONDON, May 13. Mr. Arthur Greenwood,'.speaking at the Labour . Party conference at Bournemouth, said: "Labour's challenge brought down the Government and Labour cannot, refuse to share responsibility for tlie conduct, of the war. The suggestion that Mr. Attlee and I are guilty of treachery is a foul lie. It would have been greater treachery to stand aside.” A Chelsea amendment opposing the National Government, and demanding power for a, Socialistic Government was defeated by an enormous majority.
