Successful Meeting Of Otaki Branch Fifty-six delegates from branches throughout the Otaki electorate attended the annual meeting • held in Otaki on Monday night. It was a successful gathering. The chief officers were re-elected as follows:—Chairman, Mr. P. H. G. Bennett;-hon.-treasurer, Mr.-D. P. Todd; electorate secretary, Mr. J. D. Avery; hon. auditor, Mr. C. C. Holmes. The representatives appointed to the divisional committee were Misses Hammond and L. Reed and Messrs. S. O. Saint and P. J. Wall. The delegates to the Dominion conference will be Mrs. L. H. Best, Messrs. J. Barclay, L. 11. Best and. G. A. Monk. _ - The executive committee was elected as follows Miss L. Reed, Colonel C. G. Powles. Messrs. J. W. Barber, L. H. Best, J. D. Brown, C. C. Holmes, B. F. Lynch, G. A. Monk, C. Sherwood, P. J. Wall, R. S. Wall, and the executive officers. ■ To'deal with emergency matters, an executive sub-committee was appointed, consisting of the chairman, Mr. Ben’nett, Miss L. Reed, Colonel C. G. Powles, Messrs. S.. C. Saint, D. P. Todd and P. J. Wall. Many matters of party concern were discussed, and keen interest was displayed.
