A. sldlelght on conditions in the neighbourhood of Hong Kong is thrown by the news that the two mission bouses of Ihe Presbyterian Church of New Zealand in Cheung Clinu Island, near Hong Kong have boon damaged bv the explosion of a floating mine which drifted on to the rocks on the sea front. Details have not been received as to the extent, of the damage done, but It is understood there was no loss of life.
