The carrying of blue lights by a number of taxis in Auckland was discussed at a meeting of Hie council of the Automobile Association (Auckland). It was pointed out that the showing of blue lights was compulsory for vehicles of over a certain size, and there was a possibility of mishap arising out of their being adopted by taxi-drivers. It was decided to write to the two taxi companies pointing out the legal position to them.
