John David Stuart, aged 31, clerk, of Hokitika, pleaded guilty to a charge of intoxication in charge of a ear, and was simlem'cd to 1-1 days' imprisonment will! hard labour, by Mr. Chisholm. S..M. lie was also lim'd £1 for driving without a heenee. Aroused was under disqualification from driving when the offence was committed, as the 'result of a previous conviction in Marell, 1938.
