The following scholarships will, be awarded upon approval, by the English authorities concerned, of the nominations: — ISSI Exhibition Science Research Scholarship.—Stokes, R. IL, Auckland, to be nominated to the Commissioners. Post-graduate Scholarships in Science. —George, K. D., Auckland, Metcalf, W. S.. Otago. Travelling Scholarship in Law. - Johnstone, R. 1., Victoria. Michael Hiatt Baker Scholarship.— It was resolved to nominate to the Vice-Chancellor at the University of Bristol the following:—Cole, J. A., Canterbury; Edie, E. G., Otago; bauer, L. G., Victoria. The final award will be made at Bristol. British Council Dominion Scholarship.—it was resolved to nominate to the British Council the following candidates for selection: —Braithwaite, S. N., Victoria; Cowan, T. K., Otago. Imperial Relations Trust Travelling Studentship.—lt was resolved to nominate to the Imperial Relations Trust, Oxnam, D. W„ Canterbury. Carnegie Fellowships.—As the fellowships have been suspended no nomination was made. Free Passages. —As free passages are withdrawn for the period of hostilities, no action was taken.
