Successful Season Ends Today
The successful season of Sir Janies Barrie's “Quality Street.” in the concert chamber of the Town Hall. Wellington, where it has been presented nightly during the past week by the Wellington Repertory Theatre, will end with this afternoon's and tonight’s performances. “Quality Street” is a delight fill and ' colourful romance in four acts, ami. set in a period when sentimentality was pll-pervadiug. evokes fresh admiration for the genius of Barrie and his capacity for getting the last ounce out of dramatic and humorous situations. Its presentation by the Repertory Company does full credit to all concerned, not the least to the producer, Mr. Leo du Chateau, who has contrived some masterly effects in the settings and general atmosphere, catching pleasingly the spirit, of the play and its opportunities for telling situations. Misses Mollie Brown, Goralie Smythsun, Grace Buchanan. and Mr. Algernon Deuber are supporter! by a host of other performers.
