TODAY’S ROAD WALK
The 19-10 road walking race for the Harold Brown D.C.L. Gold Label . Cup will be held today. This race is the only road walking race in the Dominion. It is timed to start at tlie Star Boating Club at 2 p.m., and to finish at the I’etone beach memorial at approximately 3.15. Among those competing are N. McCarthy, national ami provincial one mid three miles champion and Austrabilasian police champion; D. Pedersen. e.x-,New Zealand representative and Wellington champion and the present holder of the cup; F. Dmnble, third in the national three-mile championship; D. (lollop. I!)3S winner of the cup; J. Aston, 1!)3S provincial three-mile champion ; G. Turney, country club's’ one and three miles champion ; and (.',. Reid, one ami three miles West Const (North Island) champion.
