Possible Revelation SECRET PLEDGES TO NEIGHBOURS? (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received March 16, 12.35 a.m.) LONDON, March 15. Unusual interest is being taken in Mr. Chamberlain’s war review in the House of Commons on March 19. The “Daily Mail” says Mr. Chamberlain will reveal the secret pledges that were given Sweden and Norway over two months ago and that both were told they could depend on Allied support if, as a consequence of helping Finland, they became involved in war with Germany or Russia. Britain and France made it blear they regarded the integrity of Finland as an issue of European importance but the Scandinavian countries did nothing. LARGE POLISH FORCE Ready To Aid Finland (Received March 16, 1 a.m.) PARIS, March 15. The Polish Government announces that a large Polish expeditionary force had assembled somewhere in France for co-operation with British and French troops in aiding Finland. NORWEGIAN SHIP STOPPED Shot Fired By Sydney Fort (Received March 16, 1 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 15. Firing its first shot in the war, a Sydney coastal fortress today halted a Norwegian freighter which had just left port oblivious of signals requiring her to stop. A shot was fired across her bows and the vessel immediately stopped and re-entered harbour, where officers examined the passport and papers of a member of the crew, after which the vessel was allowed to leave. RAILWAY EQUIPMENT Orders Placed For B.E.F. In France (Received March 16, 1 a.m.) LONDON, March 15. The Ministry of Supply has placed orders to the value of £10,060,000 for locomotives, goods, wagons, permanent way equipment, etc., required by the British Expeditionary Force in France, the Ministry being responsible for such equipment. GERMAN TROOPS SENT TO PRAGUE (Received March 16, 12.35 a.m.) PRAGUE, March 15. New Nazi military and Black Guard units have arrived to prevent disturbances among the Czech -population during the anniversary celebration, which is a purely German affair and will extend for three days, beginning with a military parade in Wencelas Square today, followed by a tattoo in the evening in front of the floodlit castle,
